Workshop software for the European market

One platform for car workshops covering job management, booking, parts, invoicing and customer communication, plus an app for the car owners. It was built multi-language and multi-country from the first line of code, because retrofitting that is expensive. I own the architecture, the development and the operations.

Result In production with workshops in Denmark. The rest of Europe is the market.

PlantGeekz

Plant identification with an honest, botanical answer

Image recognition for plants where the answer is botanically grounded, and where the system says so when it is not confident enough. It runs on a model I trained myself on top of a large image database, and it is available in eight languages. It is also where I stay sharp on machine learning and handling data at scale.

Result Eight languages, my own trained model, in production.

BI platform, internal systems and integrations in a nationwide workshop chain

I ran development across the group with a team of three developers. I built the business intelligence platform that management and the workshops use for performance and operations analysis, plus HR systems, workshop apps and the integrations to the industry services. A lot of the work went into finding the manual processes nobody had done the maths on, and removing them.

Result Data and automations in daily use across the organisation.

Marketing and analytics tooling for a growing agency

I was technically responsible for a development team of eight. We built internal marketing tools, SEO analysis tools and robots that automated the AdWords work, so the consultants could spend their time on clients instead of spreadsheets. This is where I learned what happens to a system when it grows faster than its architecture.

Result A team of eight and the internal tooling the business ran on.

Magento freelance

Web shops and ERP integrations for established brands

Two years as an independent Magento specialist for clients including mr.dk, Dyrberg/Kern and Carlab.dk. Mostly backend work: integrations to inventory and finance systems, performance work and development beyond what the platform shipped with. It was the first time I ran my own business, and the reason I know what a client needs to hear along the way.
